Linda Roman Obituary

Linda L. Roman

Taberg-Linda L. Roman,72, passed away peacefully on Easter Sunday, March 31, 2024, with the love, support, and prayers with her family at her side, at home, following a lengthy illness.

Linda was born in Utica on July 4, 1951, the daughter of the late Harold L. Green and Ruth A. Dawley Green.  She was raised in Whitesboro and graduated from Whitesboro High School.  She had worked for 25 years at the former Stanton Paper Box Company.  Prior to her retirement, Linda had worked numerous years at the Turning Stone Casino as a Customer Representative. She had lived numerous years with her daughter Tammy in Verona, and most recently had lived with her daughter Tanya in Taberg. Linda had a sense of humor and a smile that would make anyone’s day better.  She was an avid reader, loved a good cup of coffee, and kept her mind active with crossword puzzles.  Linda was always excited about playing BINGO.  But most of all, her greatest gift to her children and grandchildren was Linda’s devoted love.

She is survived by her beloved daughters Tanya Burleigh, and her partner Steven Grosjean of Taberg, and Tammy Wilkinson of Verona; her cherished grandchildren: Trenton (Jessica) Mosman, Ashley (Rhys Jones) Mosman, Laura Mosman, and Amber (Chris Schaffner) Wilkinson; her cherished and loved great-grand daughter, Kylee Mosman; her brothers, Robert (Esther) Williams and Bruce (Claudia) Williams.  Linda also leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, close friend and her BINGO family.

She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Ruth; and eight other siblings.

Linda’s family would also like to give special thanks to Linda’s amazing personal assistants Brandi Blanchard, who Linda lovingly called Brenda; and Christina Grosjean.   Your loving care provided for Linda will never be forgotten.
